Last week we saw that as bornagain Christians we are no longer a part of the kingdom of Satan, no longer a part of this world. We have been translated from the Kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Gods son Jesus! (Colossians 1:13) We have been made to sit in heavenly places with Christ Jesus! Read Ephesians 2. It tells all about how we were brought out of darkness through the blood of Jesus and brought into one with Christ.

We understand that we are not partners with the kingdom of this world any longer. That we have become children of the living God, heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus. We are now not only a part of the Kingdom of God but we are now a part of the family of God. Don't look at that statement religiously, but really think about what it means. Does a loving parent love his child? Will a loving parent do good for his child? Will a loving parent do anything to harm his child outside of loving punishment? God loves you. He sees you the same as he sees Jesus. Because when he sees you he sees the blood of Jesus.

Think about this also. Are there benefits and privileges that goes along with being a member of a family? Is a child to enjoy all the benefits of being his parents child? Does a child have to beg and grovel to get his parents to meet his needs. I certainly hope not! A child simply trusts that his mom and dad will meet his every need and many of his wants as well. This is how our God is, but in order to tap into these benefits, we must trust. This is the key to operating in Gods Kingdom and taking our rightful spot as Gods children. Faith, simply trusting that He will do what his word says he will do. Study the gospels, study Jesus' life. He is our example and teacher of living a Kingdom life.

Is it hard to live a Kingdom life on earth? Yes, It really is at first because we are in a world that doesn't think like God. It doesn't do things like our God does or the way He expects us to. We have to retrain ourselves to think and act like God. We do this by renewing our minds with Gods word. All our lives we have gone in the same direction of the world. Now we have to turn and go in another direction. We are constantly receiving messages from the worlds system and its ways. An example is "if it feels good to it" another one is "if you cannot afford it, charge it".

While everyone else is talking sickness and disease, you have to talk health and healing. And while everyone else is talking lack and poverty, you have to talk how God is your provider. While everyone else is accepting the sin of this world, you have to stand up for and to holiness. While everyone else is looking to themselves for everything, we have to put our full trust and hope in our God for everything, knowing that he loves us and has nothing but wonderful plans for us.

Everything in the kingdom of God works by faith. Not head faith but heart faith. And as we have already learned, faith comes by hearing the word of God. If you need faith for healing, find scriptures promising healing. Write these down and hear them over and over. Don't just memorize them but say them over and over. Satan will fight you on it, trust me. He'll tell you "this isn't working". He'll tell you how stupid you look and sound. He'll send distractions of every kind. He'll even send people who will tell you "that faith stuff don't work". They are liars. They speak for the father of all lies. Satan hates faith because he knows it is the only thing that moves Gods hand. It is how the Kingdom of God operates. While this world and Satan operates on fear, God and his kingdom operates on faith.

This is why it is so important to never operate in fear. Satan moves on fear like God moves on faith. Faith opens the door in your life for God to move. Fear opens the door up in your life for Satan to move. Trust me on this one. He won't ignore an open door. He loves opportunities to steal, kill and destroy. Especially Gods people. He hates all humans but he especially hates Gods people. He goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Make sure he may not devour you, by learning to operate in faith--not fear.

Don't let what I have said bring you fear but let it move you to action to fill yourself with the word of God which will bring you perfect faith. Gods people perish for a lack of knowledge. God would not have us to be ignorant of satans devices. And just as importantly, he would have us to be aware of who we are in Christ. As child of God we have been given power and authority over Satan and his demons. But unless we give ourself to the study of Gods word so we will see these things for ourself and faith rises up, we will never be able to go against the grain of this world and live the kind of life that God has made provision for us to live.

The choice is really ours. We don't have to live a victorious life in order to make heaven. We can be saved and miserable, living a very defeated Christian life and still go to heaven when we die. You won't have to look too far to find many Christians just like this. They love God and they are saved but they, for whatever reason, refuse to go forward in the things of God, learning how to live the Christian life that God intended for us to live and made full provision for us to live.

Now I am not saying that even the people that are the most strong in faith live a trouble free life. There won't be any trouble free lives until Satan is locked away. And we know his time is coming. But we can have joy and peace in any and all circumstances. Peace that passes all understanding. We can live a life of health and have all our needs met abundantly. This is the will of God. We can live a holy life. One well pleasing to God. We can live in love and forgiveness rather than hatred, bickering, back stabbing, gossiping and slandering. We can have the time of our lives, being Christian. The way some Christians live and behave, who would want what they have?

I mean, you absolutely cannot tell most saints from the lost. In most cases we are just as sick, just as broke, just as depressed, just as sinful as the rest of the world. Divorce among Christians are just as high as among the lost. This all just should not be. We have allowed Satan to keep knowledge of our inheritance from us. He has done this through many ways, I believe the main one being religion. You know what I mean, that wicked religious spirit that tries to make the power of God to no effect by denying Gods power. By saying that Gods power is not for today. The lying spirit that tries to make us think that we are just old sinners and one day in the sweet by and by when we get to Glory, we are going to have a good life. I tell you, we are no longer sinners, but we have been made the very righteousness of God! We are no longer slaves to sin. I also tell you that yes, one day our lives will be made perfect, but God, by the blood of Jesus made provision for us to have a glorious, victorious life right here, right now. Our life is to be the envy of the world so that they will want a relationship with our God too. Our lives should bring glory to God.
When we submit ourselves to Gods truth instead of the doctrines of men and of demons, when we learn how to live as members of a holy priesthood, as citizens of heaven, as children of the creator of the universe. (I Peter 2:9) Then we will live the victorious life that Jesus gave his life in order that we might live.

Then our lives will be a force of love, peace and joy that will draw others to Gods wonderful saving grace.

Practical Application:

Continue to Read Gods word daily. Continue to speak key scriptures that promise deliverance in areas where you need deliverance. Continue to pray for others but especially for yourself right now if you have very many areas that need change. Ask God to reveal truth to you and to facilitate your growth. Be honest with God and open with him. He knows it all anyway. Besides, he loves you and wants you to cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you.
